A pretty versatile modulation machine for those on a budget. You'll find better dedicated flanger and chorus sounds from other units but the beauty of the CF-7 is that is tackles three modes in one pedal. The chorus doesn't have that rich lush swirl of a Small Clone and the flanger doesn't have the deep swoosh of an ADA but they are believable and have their uses. You'll find sweet spots in both modes but the CF-7 really stands out in the whack'd modes. Overmodulated sounds abound in guitar sounds today and a flick of the switch puts you in the running. For Pre-Korn effect lovers, the CF-7 can dial in that Steve Steven's death ray, the blur of the Cocteau Twins, or the hazy chordal chime of Lush. Not a bad pedal, but we wish there was a external footswitch to toggle between chorus and flange mode ala the Boss pedals.
